This is for the Group run by two very hard-working and dedicated Administrators:
Founder: and Co-Founder: both who have had issues with their internet and with getting things to run smoothly on dA, and making it challenging for them to run this WONDERFUL GROUP at times, and their Members just LOVE this Group!

Each one is also a sweet, kind, and generous friend, and I thank them for their wonderful support, and I just want to wish them each very well, both with the Group, as well as personally, throughout the Holidays and The New Year...

This is Philippe, who is just as equally affectionate as Herbie the Love Bug: [link] and so Philippe's middle name is: L'amour.

This is an effort to do 2 things:

This will round out a much nicer collection of Holiday Pet images to be available for Holiday Animal Greeting Cards for NEXT Year...
as I had NO idea I would get what orders I DID get, this year, and I felt unprepared with the images I had, both in the area of holiday animals and regular holiday images to be honest!
[even if it was nice, that the images I had were wanted anyway... ]

And in a GREATER effort to help support The South Coast Humane Society through The Shelter Project by having a nicer variety in general.

Philippe was adopted on October 16th, 2010, from the last facility I volunteered for, before moving, after he lived there for about up to 9 months. We set his Birthday at November 1st. He just barely turned 2.

He had never been looked at, or asked about in all the time that he was there, despite being online, and always looking very cute in person, and being SUPER people-friendly.
But no-one ever gave him that chance in person.

I came from a place where people did not like black cats, so these were always the last to be adopted, and it's sad because they are often the sweetest of cats!

I knew him the whole time I worked there, but thought for sure someone would take one that cute and friendly, and really we shouldn't have anymore, but as it got close to Halloween, and it was known that mean things happen to black cats where I lived, I was worried that he'd suddenly be adopted for the wrong reasons...
He's beautiful and wonderful.

He had been our last and FINAL indoor cat for over a year... until JUST very recently.
Jack, the Oregon stray, who does have one photo in my Galley, will have his Holiday Pet Portrait uploaded at some point, too.
