"Where are you taking me?" she asked him- but he rode on silently, kicking the huge black horse to go even faster. It was dizzying.
What a speechless creature he is, Alice thought as her uncomfortable position made it hard for her to breathe. She kicked and screamed, still, but she could barely manage it as they rode throughout the countryside at a recklessly fast pace. The woods became scarce, and then they disappeared almost altogether. She let out another loud strangled cry, "Help ME!" before something knocked her unconscious.
