My alturnative reaction to Mario Kart 7. The only reason why I preordered the game is to see if Waluigi was in there.Apparently, he's not. And to rub salt into the wound, they have kept Waluigi Pinball course! BT
Here's one of the many reasons why he hasn't shown up; Waluigi is still nagging at Nintendo for his own game, and then threatened to go on strike if his demands weren't met.
So they excluded him from MK 7.
And yes, that is a Spiny winged Blue shell he is sitting on.

( in all seriousness I was really upset he wasn't in it, I haven't played it yet so I read up on it, my jaw practically hit the floor. Like what? are they gonna leave him out of the spinoffs now too? Sheesh..)

I thought he was in so I preordered it. I don't blame other characters that get the jump in the rouster. But still.

They could have indeed added characters, but not deleting characters! It's such a shame, because Waluigi is loved by a lot of people.
Indeed, I hope his protest will be heard. Shame on Nintendo! To my relief, they still added him in Mario Party 9 and the other spin off games. And he kicks ass in Mario Strikers!

I hated how Mario Kart 7 didn't add this villain in. He should have gotten one, but he didn't. I feel so sorry for the characters that don't always appear in Mario games.

Yeah, I do find it as a rip off that they didn't bring him back along with what I consider the most popular course from the DS game. They started off with the original roster from the first MK because they wanted you to start off with the original cast there. And if there's one character they shouldn't have added or brought back, they shouldn't have:
Brought back either Shy Guy or Rosalina
Added Red Lakitu or Queen Bee

I think Shy Guy should not have be added; you already get to play as him if you download play without a card. :\
And Metal Mario? Ok... celebrating the days of 64, but in a kart? That's just like putting wings on Bowser's shell and calling him a light weight (Because MM is basically a heavy weight Mario).
Queen Bee is funny to watch on the course, and then bombing her with blue shells, and I like the Red Lakitu; reminds me of one critter of Happy Tree Friends that I can't put my finger on.

Okay, Metal Mario I can understand perfectly, and maybe a bit on Shy Guy, but we didn't need Red Lakitu when we already have the one that referees the races or Queen Bee because she's way too small from her Galaxy appearances now. We should have gotten Lubba.

Like I said; The Waluigi Pinball course is one of the many ways of rubbing salt into the wound. :\
I like Lakitu stuffed in a Soda Plane, nuff' said. :T
But we all know that Waluigi hasn't gotten the axe yet; he returns in Mario and Sonic at the London Olympic Games. (Pfft, even that game logic fails on so many levels.)

Well, one course that should not have come back is GBA Bowser Castle 1. GBA BC 2 WAS IN DS, AND GBA BX 3 WAS IN Wii! Why didn't they pick something nicer like Cheese Land?

I like the new Rainbow Road, so trippy~ Only problem is it's one of those 'From-Point-A-To-Point-B', so that was a real bummer.

Oh, I love the Wuhu courses~ And Rainbow Road, but the sections don't feel like a full lap to me. 
I love it when Luigi screams 'Ma-Maaaaaaaaaaa~!' when using a cannon-type parafoil.

Well, the courses are pretty long. Lapping them thrice would drain the 3DS's power, making waste of another of the 500 times you can charge it.
I like when Bowser wins, he laughs "nah-nah-nah-nah-nah!" He did that in MKWii.

I like it too. I also like it when Wario wins, but I don't play with the heavy weights often.
Also, is it me, or is Yoshi beginning to sound too much like Snoopy from Peanuts? (Not that I have a problem; makes him cuter.)

Yeah. How he calls them losers is good for laughs. Well, I like to play as every character at least once, whether I like them or not. It makes them feel special.

I think everyone loves her for her peppy personality. But I think they should have brought back Bowser Jr or Diddy Kong as well.

I think one of the Koopalings, most likely Larry, should be involved as a representitive. They have been neglected worse than any other character that has little limelight. (Shoot me if I'm wrong... |D)

I mean, come on. I actually think Mario Party 2 is the WORST in the entire Mario Party series. They reused some of the minigames from the original, had some frustrating board obstacles, and would be cruel at times by giving you a hidden block with 20 coins, and then a computer player finds one with a star in it. I just thought that one was boring. Plus, Mystery Land was a real pain.

You know, speaking of Mario Party, I have the DS version, but I always manage to find a little story in each incident. Like how Wario was coming in last, and Bowser made the rest of the players cough up 10 coins each during the Final Five Frenzy. Later on, Wario lands on a Bowser space, and is made to return those 10 coins to each player. Total Karma! XD That's another story though. (And obviously, I was playing as Waluigi.)

In Mario Kart 7, Peach seems to be my toughest opponent. She usually comes in 3rd or 2nd very often.

I get random tough opponents. |D I play as either the light weights, Luigi, or Yoshi, and sometimes Daisy. Her 'Haw-haw' rivals Nelson's from The Simpsons.

Oh, that. Well, if you ever had a Wii, you'd love to see some of the courses that were in it that didn't return. There was Moo Moo Meadows, Toad's Factory, DK Summit, Wario's Gold Mine, Daisy Circuit, Grumble Volcano, Dry Dry Ruins, Moonview Highway, and their rendition on Bowser's Castle and Rainbow Road.
