Description
This was an illustration for a fanfic that appeared in an issue of Roberta Rogow's 'zine "Grip." The author really stressed the parrallels between the Romulans and the Ancient Romans in his story and was overjoyed when I came up with this Byzantine-inspired costume design for the bridal outfit he described. As a fashion history buff, I was quite pleased with it myself.Update: I tracked this one down - It was for a story titled "Conspiracies" by Charles F. Thompson that appeared in Grip #28 published in 1987
