This is more or less a bit of a reference pic for Nether, a character that was briefly introduced in a way through a collection of doodles. I've actually gotten a couple requests to put something up of this character, since people have taken interest in him and wanted to see a proper, colored drawing of him. I'm not saying this is that, but it's something yeah?

A short character bio, for those who care: Nether is a creature that's made entirely of rubber, a living exoskeleton of it filled with a dark, oily substance that gives him his black color. There is nothing inside of him other than that substance, which is pure shadow collected in liquid form. Being rubber, Nether can do many things that you'd expect a rubbery creature to do, and that is stretch, bend, and inflate like a balloon. He doesn't actually have eyes either, however floating, glowing, pupil-like objects do hover around which allow him to see what's in front of him. His body, being made of rubber, is very shiny and reflective ( Note: Not displayed here in this "ref" ), being translucent to the point where you could see the shadow substance within him. Nether is also very easy-going, acting very childish a lot of the time, but mostly just wants to have fun. Also really friendly.

About the picture itself, as you can see the two right pictures display Nether how he actually looks ( With a sole reference as well ), and to the left are two chibi-ized versions that most people might know him most by.

Hopefully this clears up some things about Nether. As for the current comic-in-the-making ( The Glumps ), he will most likely not be appearing since Nether is not included in the cast of characters. This is just here for the people who requested to see a basic picture of Nether. Enjoy it, all two of you.
