This is what I've spent the last two months or so on. Though it only took that long because I'm lazy and junk.

It quickly became apparent that trying to mimic the show exactly wasn't working out for me, so I decided I'd better learn how to draw ponies in a slightly different way that's easier for me to manage. I set out to practice the main six (I know it's Mane Six but I think that sounds kinda silly) to try and get a feel for things. This is a mixture of actual shots from the show, and things I did on my own based on the existing sketches.

Granted, it's only heads practice and I haven't done any bodies yet, but I have a pretty good handle on faces now. Unfortunately, I don't think Twilight isn't quite as good as the others, which is kind of the downside of being the first in line. I'd really like to draw pretty much every single character, but that would take too long...
