Thanks for the compliment! I had been spending most of school trying to remove any anime influences in my style; I thought it would be more acceptable given the sentiments of our teachers. But, you can't fight what you want to do, so I'm trying to find the right balance between styles.

ive been doing the same .... i love anime but i got too obseesed and my teachers avised to focus on fundenentals. i have been spending my current years trying to do the same as youbut i feel im failing at it......i find it really hard t simplifly etc so im still learning it even now

It does look a lot like anime but it has a good, unique style which is rare, and no matter what style you choose art design makes most of the difference
