Description
Reyson was taken aback when the Hawk pounced on him. One moment, he’d been closing the door and about to greet Tibarn; the next, the aforementioned King of Phoenicis was tackling him onto the bed and pinning him against the pillows. Reyson was startled, but not complaining—quite the opposite. Certainly he had nothing to complain about if Tibarn felt the need to kiss him until he was breathless.

“What did I do to earn this?” he finally managed to ask when they came up for air. Tibarn grinned and pressed a red envelope into Reyson’s hand. The Heron looked at it, puzzled.

“Happy Valentine’s Day,” the Hawk smirked.

“Seems…out of character…” Reyson said, perhaps a bit suspiciously, as he opened the envelope.

“Not for long, it won’t,” Tibarn said, watching as Reyson read. His grin widened as the Prince’s cheeks flushed.

“Y-yes, that’s much more like you,” the Heron agreed. “Quite a lot more like you.”

The coffee-haired king teasingly threw a handful of rose petals at Reyson. “I thought I might try to indulge that side of you that’s hopelessly romantic.”

“Oh, you did that. A grand success,” Reyson assured him.

“So can we move on to something more exciting, then?”

“Of course.”

I've just been informed that Tibarn is entirely too tan. Oh well XD I was also tempted to call this "Fancy Skydiving?" but that would require a bit more explaination and probably a different image. I'll put it on my to-do list. hawks pretty much mate by skydiving, it would be funny

Anyways! This is my entry for the #Behind-the-Emblem Valentine's Day contest. I guess that the Valentine-ness of the image is pretty dependent on the little story that goes with it. I leave it up to you to decide for yourself what was in that note XP

And...evidently I'm not feeling creative enough to come up with any further description XP

all right, time to figure out these credits...
I believe that the pose was referenced from ~tacostock ([link] ), the columns were from *poserfan-stock ([link] ), the rose petals were from Obsidian Dawn, and the brick wall was from TextureMate. I think that's everyone! XD (updating this with the links took way longer than it should have. DeviantArt, why must you run so slowly? DX)
