I absolutely adore Audrey Tautou. I think she is a wonderful actress, and probably one of the most beautiful women in the world. I think I went back to my comfort zone on this one though. I shaded fairly lightly. But honestly, I don't think dark contrast would have worked. It was almost impossible to get her nose right, and after staring at it for hours, every change ended up looking the same. So maybe you guys can tell me if it's right.Anyway, I hope you like it.

hi there, great work. have you ever tried using pastel blending sticks ? they sure would help to blend your pencil marks out and give a more realistic finish. i am not critising, its a great drawing, just trying to help. i only discovered these pastel blending sticks a month or so ago and they have really helped me. good luck with the next one

YAY! I have a huge problem with blending. I have tried almost every blending tool suggested, and I just can't seem to get it right. So I am so happy you sent me this. I really want to improve and I will try anything. Thank you so much for taking the time to give me some advise. Cause I sure as hell need it.

Hey don't put yourself down, you just did a good drawing. As artists i dont think anyone ever stops learning, there is always another way, another tool etc etc i just thinks its better to comment with help instead of just a 'well done' note. But that's just me

Thank you so much for taking the time comment. It's kinda weird, but when you stare at a picture lon enough, it takes a different shape in your mind. I get going on it and don't want to stop. But it's really a good idea to take a break so you look at it fresh again. I think your gallery is great. I especially like portrait of M. It's beautiful.

I really like this, but I think the border on the bottom left side distracts a bit from her lovely face. You are very talented; keep it up!

Now that I look at it, you are right. It doesn't help that my shading is super light and the border is dark. But oh well.
