HP Lovecraft fanart. One of Azathoth's Idiot Pipers, in the coils of the Demon Sultan Azathoth, although only a very small portion of my version of that entity is depicted, being the red many-eyed tentacles. I greatly enjoy drawing the pipers, don't think I have posted many in this gallery- they tend to show up in my more adult fare. . .Prismacolor pencils on black.

Another of the Magnificent Blues pieces... This one really is one of my very favorites, mostly for the articulation of the complext tentacles around the instrument. Awesome work!

Blue's just such a wonderful color to work with! The blue prismas seem to lay down and blend especially well, my favorites are the vaguely violet ones, I just can't get enough of "blue violet lake", it gets replaced alot.

LOL - I'm like that with the greeny-blues, myself. Indigo, Copenhagen blue, light aqua - gone in a fortnight. Love 'em to pieces. I've found that I have to keep a pretty large stock on hand.
