Description
After burning out on sci-fi artwork during the course of my Inktober challenge, I've been slowly working on some fantasy designs. In this case, I was testing a new inking pen, a COPIC 0.03 Multiliner. It's substantially more expensive than the Sakura pens that I generally use for inking, but thus far I'm impressed by how fine of a line I can achieve with it. I can't wait to test it out on even smoother paper.

Compared to the previous posted version of the design ( ), I've made only a few alterations. The vest in particular has been simplified somewhat to have a single laced break line down the front, with vertical stitching to provide visual interest.

(Aside: I really wish that DA would provide a category for hybrid traditional-digital work. Many of my works use traditional media for their lines, and are then finished with digital coloring. I'm not entirely comfortable categorizing these works as either Traditional or Digital, since they are both in roughly equal measure. I usually just file them under "Digital" since they use digital finishing work.)
