Meet Asuma Morimoto. Or, as he's better known to the other Oni in Hibiki's world, Mizuki the Avenger. an "OC HEro Rider" for the "World of Hibiki" conceptualized by for "Gaia Aftershock".

Asuma Morimoto is a japanese native from America, who grew up without any knowledge of Oni, Makamou, or that his own FATHER was an Oni. However, years went by before tragedy struck while Asuma and his family were on vacation in Kyoto: Upon a Makamou attack in the midst of a busy street, Asuma's parents forced him to run and hide... and wound up being its first victims. When Asuma came out of hiding, he found his parent's remains, as well as his father's Onjou Bracelet. Despite not knowing why his father never fought back, Asuma swore to avenge his family and destroy all Makamou for the sake of others, that no one else would have to suffer as he had.

Transformation to his true self is done simply: Pulling the tab on his bracelet, Asuma swipes a finger across the strings within, causing odd soundwaves to echo forth. Holding it up to his forhead, an Oni Face appears on his head. Holding his hands together with the thumbs, index and middles fingers pressed together with the ring and pinky fingers curled down, Asuma is struck by lightning bolts, which fill his body and unleash his true form.

Asuma is a String-Type Water Oni and wields a guitar; however, unlike others like Zanki and Todoroki, Asuma is doesn't use an electric guitar. Instead, he uses a base guitar, believing that teh echoes it makes are a better fit in the aide of his finishing attack. Instead of attacking the Makamou's organs, Asuma's attacks target the fluids in the Makamou's body, causing them to vibrate at such speeds that they literally explode out of their owner's body, causing them to suffer a most painful end.

Also unlike Zanki and Todoroki, who use their guitars like swords or clubs before the finisher, Mizuki's weapon, the Ongeki Shingen: Namidou (Sound Attack True Chord: Wave Motion) has a special feature behind the body of the guitar: A grip-like handle that allows him to not only use teh guitar as a lance-like weapon, but also as an impromptu shield if need be.

His finisher is "ONGEKIZAN: BAKUSUIGEN NO GEKISHIN (SOUND ATTACK SLASH: EXPLODING WATER DRAMATIC QUAKE)", where, after plugging the Ongekishin: Eisei Mizu (Sound Attack Quake: Water Satellite) to the Namidou to activate guitar form, he stabs the guitar into the foe and starts strumming his guitar in a slow, measured way. The initial sound waves do nothing, which leaves him vulnerable for roughly three seconds; after this period, however, the sound waves start their work, causing the fluids in the foe's body to vibrate and move rapidly. With one final strum of the guitar, the final blow is dealt, killing the foe in a giant, soaking explosion. Like all other Oni, this attack will ONLY CAUSE SEVERE DAMAGE TO OTHER ONI; it will NOT kill them.

An official image of a Kamen Rider Zanki action figure was used for this piece's backing picture. I felt the best way to show this one off was to leave out a lot of the detailing, that way he wouldn't look too much like Zanki. He still kinda does, though...
