Meanwhile...

Tristan is holding Diandra's pendant with a faraway look in the eyes. He always carries that pendant with him. (She forgot when she was at the Fort. )

And that (elf) woman is Talana. After much insistence from her, Tristan finally gave in and took her as his lover.

They are spending the night in an Inn of a small village, after he and a group of companions helped the residents against an attack of giant spiders. Talana always insists on going in these missions...To his annoyance. More to be around him than to actually help.

He didn't forget Diandra. (And he won't forget. )

Any resemblance to a scene in "The Witcher" ... is no coincidence. lol XD
