tookus. I believe the word you want in the last sentence is tookus. LOL. BTW, since I don't know anything about your characters here why is the kangaroo character bothered by the habanero sauce statement?

I'm starting to be able to tolerate spicy food better, however habanero is way out of my league.

Are some people born with artistic talent while some aren't? Just wondering.

Temiree In reply to revboss101 [2016-04-21 07:06:08 +0000 UTC]
Believe me I had no artistic talent when I was born, or for most of my life. I just had a strong interest in drawing while others my age had an interest in other things like sports. I started taking art more seriously in high school, if you were wondering, which was about 9-ish years ago.
There's been a lot of obstacles along the way. Tons of self-doubt, frustration, bad drawings, mistakes and more. I still have plenty of those to this day. But the important thing is I didn't give up trying. If I put my pen down, it'd be back in my hand a few days later. And that's how I got to where I am today.
The old saying goes is that you have thousands of bad drawings in you, lined up in front of the good ones. You have to draw out all the bad stuff first, one by one. With time, you'll eventually get to see the good stuff. You just gotta look through my gallery to see that. There's a big difference between 800+ drawings ago, and now.

Those are some very inspiring words. I admire your dedication and the amount of effort you put into all of these things. It reminds me to keep pursuing the art that I want to make. Keep going and don't be too hard on yourself.

I feel like it takes a lot of practice to make good art, if you look at Temiree's drawings from 2006 you will see that he has improved a lot. If you want to become an artist my best advice is to try to draw everyday and to not compare you're art to other people.

Ghost peppers and Carolina Reappers are hotter. Habañeros are just child's play.

Okay. At less you don't need gloves to handle a Habañero. You need gloves to handle both Ghost and Carolina Reappers.

Dude, please tell me you'll end up becoming a famous comic-book artist, and that your characters will end up having their own animated TV series, with a follow-up animated full-length movie. Please?
I mean seriously, this is one of the most professional-looking things you have ever done. This really does look like something out of an actual comic book. While those backgrounds might have been a pain, they were certainly worth it. They look magnificent, even if it is just of a typical kitchen/dining area (you even made *those* look awesome). But of course, the highlights are the characters: both are superbly adorable, not to mention adorkable, with their differing expressions and humorous little exchange.
I really hope to see these guys doing things like this more often! You really do have a knack for storytelling, even if its typically just anecdote-types.

I'm kinda like Ryan when it comes to spicy foods, I love eating things that are spicy. I also love Nestle's reaction to when Ryan tells him that it was habanero sauce.
