I'm doing a handful of drawings for 's character, Rocky! He'll be depicted in some different outfits. I started off first with his classic outfit, with a couple of minor updates overall to his character. Brown eyes were added, and pockets to his cargo pants. :3

And I was wondering, while Rocky once used to be thin, was there a part in one of AwesomeCaliArtist's stories where he has somehow gained weight after retiring from all the conflict he has went through with city gangs, and spent a majority of his time at home with his family?

Might be wrong but I think itβs just to add a bit of humour. I think at a number of times Rocky comments on how out of shape he is. It adds humour and makes the characters look more likeable.Β

Again that might be the point. Rocky isnβt in his glory days anymore. Heβs old and out of shape when the bad guys come for him and heβs not at his best to deal with them. Makes things a bit more interesting.

Personally, I don't see it that way. I just find it odd that he's suddenly out of shape now when he was portrayed as lean and strong enough throughout the story chapters, especially since he trains regularly in his HQ. Seeing him suddenly fat runs at odds with that and seems out of place with the story progression.Β

From what I understand, Rocky doesn't put on weight until after the story is over. This is an older version of him after he's "settled down."

Ah, now that is what I had in mind and would easily explain the gained weight. I'm surprised he already has an idea of that when the main story hasn't exactly concluded yet, but I digress. XD
