Description I’ve settled on a name for my modern-era raccoon character … he’s going to be named Ryan! It was hard to decide. I had another name in mind at first, but I found out later on that it was already being used by a character of the same species. The name Ryan has grown on me the most though. It just seems to fit how I imagine him. I’m also thinking since he and my kangaroo character Nestle are my only modern-era characters, they could be roommates. I guess we’ll see!

Start drawing and practice practice practice. That's how I did it. I didn't wake up one day being able to do this (as much as I wish I did)!

I have taken lessons, and I do tend to sketch in my free time, which has helped me improve. Though I am limited to rough pencil outlines, with little depth. Although thank you kindly for your helpful words.

I think he may get involved in petty crimes, as a raccoon might be inclined to do, but he has a good heart. We'll see.

Ooh, I like the idea of him and Nestle being roommates! Maybe that's what Nestle is so mad about in your previous pic of him, Ryan stole his cookies or drank the last of his energy drink.
