That's just because my concept was so different from what everyone else was doing, but on a skill and workmanship level, you are head and shoulders above me. I am going to completely re-design Johara for next year. I am tentatively considering the gypsy thing we discussed, but I have a secret weapon in mind which will not be revealed until the last moment. I hope this year is lucrative enough to afford this particular project. Though the concept is far from original, it will be all "Jo".
Btw...did your boss veto your pitch, or did you get the chance?

Thank you. I hate being in limbo just waiting to see what's going to happen. If I didn't have so many bills and aspirations, I would commit to your company and go full time permanent. I actually like that kind of work and it allows me to work independently. Hopefully all the lights will come on by March.

I am planning my own minotaur costume, and I have been trying to get new ideas on how to do the teeth, horns, nose, and hooves. Any tips?

You must be very careful in choosing your materials, since stuff like teeth and horns etc can get very heavy, and you want your head as light as possible. My teeth are made out of Sculptey, My horns for this head were made out of paper mache, my new horns will be made out of celluclay.

It was, but unlike other costumes I never really had to stop and go "now how am I going to do this?"
I loved making him,I have plans for a satyr costume in the future. D'oh... all my minotaur has done is fuel the fire to make more fursuits XD

I sewed a body suit that fits tight to by body, then padded certain areas with shaped upholstery foam. The padding was sewn directly to the body suit, then the entire thing was covered with Faux Fur.
