Description Since I can't really show any of the stuff I'm working on right now, here's an oldie but a goodie ( well for me ). Did a whole bunch of kooky slightly odd assassin type characters in an old art book called CONLUVIO which is now, sadly pretty hard to find and out of print. Here's another favourite of mine from it.

I totally love what you did with the perspective here, it's not very clear if we're watching her from a lower position or if it's just a surealist effect!

Most interesting thing about your work sir is that you
have able to create a neon effect in your works. It is a combination of realism and Surrealism.Something different that make your style unique compared to others.Sure you are an icon of comic book industry.

Well cheers. Yeah, I do try for a bit more realism at times but the surrealist/cartoony side still comes out a lot. Probably better that way than only doing fully photo reffed lifeless stuff that seems to be a big trend in comics these days.

It is such a honor to receive a reply from u .

Yes you are absolutely current i don't see any creativity in copying directly a photograph for a comic.I wish i could bring something unique that my own style one day.

Who doesn't love a good poodle for breakfast? Oh, to keep. Well now that seems a bit silly. I've read your article in Advanced Photoshop on the Wormwood Calamari Rising Cover so I kinda know how you do some of your techniques, but on this one did you use an image with little blur for the face? It's just so clear and well defined, which is not to say that you couldn't do that on your own, it's just not generally how your work is. Thanks as always for answering all of my obscure comments and questions.

If I remember right I did photo ref a woman's head on that one, probably dropped a little shadowing back in on her nose and mouth.

Awesome, it looks fantastic. I'm always interested in how artists create. Nothing inspires me like great work with different and weird techniques. Thanks again for responding!
