Ushering his sister to a chair and sitting beside her, Xander says; "I hear you keep asking everyone if I'm an assassin."
Quickly Shelly hold up one finger while she gulps her beer, an obvious attempt to buy herself some time. Not waiting for her to finish, Xander tells her; "I'm not an assassin. I promise. I have a few inventions that I make royalties off of, and I've got some investments that make quite a lot of interest. Sometimes I help Freddy out, or do odd jobs like customizing a weapon. But I'm not an assassin."
Finished with her beer, Shelly looks relieved as she says; "Thank god! After that weird conversation with that Doctor friend of yours, and what Maria said. That bitch!"
"All you need to know is that I'm happy." Xander says earnestly; "I do what I enjoy, I've got an awesome girlfriend, and I've got some money." Thinking for a moment; "And now apparently I've got my own house." He finishes with a chuckle.
Laughing with him, more out of relief than anything, Shelly says; "Well all the rumors have had me worried is all. I just don't want you getting hurt."
"Well apparently I have a doctor for a friend, so I'll be fine." Xander assures her.
