"Hey babe." Xander says when Ariel comes home; "I was thinking that after you get cleaned up and change clothes, I'd take you out to dinner. What do ya think?"
"Oh god, after the day I've had that sounds awesome." Ariel replies in relief. Just then her phone rings and looking at it she says in resignation; "It's Sam, I better take it."
"Hey Sam, what's up?" Ariel says into her cell phone. After listening for a few moments; "Oh shit! I'm on my way there now!" she tells him, then turning to her boyfriend; "There was some kind of accident or something, Tabitha's in the Emergency Room." she informs him. Then suddenly bursting into tears; "They're not sure if she's gonna make it." she cries as she rushes to Xander for a brief moment of comfort. "I gotta go!" she says as she attempts to regain her composure somewhat.
"Go. You fly, I'll catch up on my bike." Xander assures her.
