Description This is one of the perspectives from the final project in my Studio One Class.

We had to design a loft space in an old brick building in Buffalo, NY. My concept for the project was Simple and Classic. I designed the loft with a classic loft style by exposing the interior walls to the original brick, keeping the ceiling open and left the piping and the wood slates exposed, keeping the original wood in the interior of the space ie. the original staircases, the original butlers cabinet, as well as the original floor (painted black).

The pic above is perspective of the Kitchen. The entire back wall (which can be seen in the kitchen elevation) of my loft space consisted of custom built cabinets, to contain and disguise the kitchen cabinets, sink, wine refrigerator, the refrigerator, dishwasher, a cabinet that hides away the dryer, washer, ironing board, and stove. The sink and the columns next to the sink are made of copper. The cabinets are painted white with a dark granite countertop. The tops of the cabinets were left open with recessed lighting.

Graphite and watercolor on watercolor paper.
