Description
This is a child from the Tigray tribe in ethiopia. He was so surprised to see white people, so he was just staring bluntly at us. Kinda funny to see that they use everything to make hats. Those streaks in his face are dirt and sand. Enjoy !Related content

I visited Taiwan several years ago and two men were interested in my skin (it's really pale). I was at a hot spring and in a bathing suit, just sitting in the water, and one of them started rubbing his fingers on my leg. He might have been trying to see if I had makeup on. There is a cosmetic thing that lets people make their skin lighter and I guess since people have darker skin in Taiwan some people want to make their skin look lighter. Anyway though, they probably figured out it wasn't makeup since we were in water and it wasn't coming off.

i replicated this in a drawing that now adorns the wall of my tattoo studio - since - in lack of better words - the pic moved me. I spend my days enveloped in imagery and can't say any other image has ever done the same. Thankyou for that - both to you and your subject. The re-creation envokes feeling in many of my customers also, and is perhaps the most commented on of all my work. Of course they are all sent here, through my facebook, instagram and my website. I love the half smile the child has, its so charming and I see why you took the picture. The sand and dirt has a rather nice effect on his skin, it gives him this other worldly appearance
