Background Story:
Talvi Joutsen, better known under her Pseudonym Fendris Naranen, was born as the second of two children in Helsinki, Finland.
Her mother raised her and her older half-brother Kai alone, Fendris' father left the family even before his daughter was born.
Her mother rarely talks about him, all Fendris knows is that he is/ was Korean, but lived in the UK and came to Helsinki for a business trip. Her mother had a quick, but passionate affair with him and then he had to return to England.
Aino Joutsen never was lucky with men - her sons' father left her for a much younger woman and after Fendris' father left her too she decided to never get in a relationship again.
Her children got used early to her many One-Night-Stands.
Fendris herself is not really interested in learning more about her father, since he also never tried to find her during the last 20 years. She is pretty sure that she is an illegimate child and that her father was already married when he had the affair with her mother. For her this is the reason why never never looked for her, because he has another family and wants to keep his happy bubble intact.
She found her own passion in writing and is famous for her Fantasy Novel Winter Warriors - Snow Curse and has recently released the second book The Forgotten Swan.

When she was 16, Fendris fell for the wrong man, the 10 yeara older Janis Koskinen and got married with 17. Right now she is divorced again and took back her birth name "Joutsen". Janis was very abusive and brutal towards her, when Fendris talked about her brother Kai he already lost his temper and tried to hurt her physically, often succeded.
Fendris tried to endure this, becausd she was in love with him, until one day he hit her so hard that she had to spend 3 days in hospital.
She finally told her mother and her brother about the circumstances at home and with their help she found the strength to seperate from Janis.
Her brother and her mother also supported her while going through the divorce.
Writing was a great help for her as well and during that time she started writing the first book of Winter Warriors
Fendris' dream location has always been the US, preferably Florida and right now she is about to move there.

Fendris is hiding a secret identity from everyone else in her life, she is a warrior for love and justice, Sailor Deneb and had been able to easily identify herself with that duty.
She has also met one of her fellow senshi, mainly by accident.
Takenaka Vega/ Sailor Lyra had sent her a mail just after the release of "Snow Curse" and they had exchanged a few mails, noticing that they got along well.
They had also been able to meet.
