Durza the Shade from Eragon. I sort of liked the way he was done in the movie. But now I'm re-reading the book (to remind myself that it actually IS a good story with characters and plot etc....) And I decided to do my own version.Durza (c) Christopher Paolini

he's a shade, not a zombie.... lol... And the movie was a HORRIBLE portrayal of him... well the movie was horrible, but the book was GREAT

I never liked the movie version of durza. I always pictured him having a similar appearance to this but with shorter hair.

i like this a lot. there are not enough fan based takes on the book's characters. you did a good job with this, i think you captured the thin skin stretched over the skull look very well. the movie angered me, durza was one of the only characters even close to described in the book. i have read eragon thrice and eldest twice, going on third. hopefully soon i will have my own adaptations of the BOOK's characters up soon. keep up the good work.

read eragon 4 times, just finished eldest for the 5th, and am anxiously awaiting the final installment...i personally want Galbatorix to go down in flames...LITERALLY

Durza is my favorite antagonist EVER! i think you partrayed him really well. i like the eyes and teeth. AND THE ARMOUR YOU DREW WAS FRIGGIN' AWESOME!
If you want to do any illistrations for characters from my {unfinished} book just let me know, i am drawing all the characters from my own image but i want to know what other people would see while reading.
