Deinosuchus hatcheri was a gigantic, 12 metre long carnivore, sometimes called the terror croc. Its name means terrible crocodile. It was basically an alligator, not a real crocodile.Related content

Boy it would be scary to have crocodilians that big. Too bad they are extinct.

yes, too bad. there were so many giants like sarcosuchus , ramphosuchus, purussaurus,stomatosuchus, gryposuchus and Mourasuchus. These crocodilians were all about 10-12meters in lebgh and are all sadly extinct....
