Description Dear god, it hurts my eyes! It's just too damn cute! It's a younger Linda, back when she still had that special sparkle in her eyes.

I drew this up while I was doodling in openCanvas. I've been getting TONS better at it already. Anyway, when I drew this linework up, I just couldn't let it go un-finished. So I tried out a couple new techniques in openCanvas which I observed from some other artists on their own pieces. I like the effect it gives. I'm not quite satisfied with the hair yet, but I love what I can do with bodies. Anywho, I hope you all enjoy this quick piece of mine! Probably took about an hour and a half.

I need to practice a lot more with my tablet... but I never seem to give myself the time I have a lot of trouble with the pressure... my lines often ends up all wobbly =/

Hold on, when did you get a Tablet?

We're definitely gonna have to have an oC session some time. That's how I practice with my tablet and I actually got very good quickly with mine because I doodles in openCanvas so much.

Gah... I hate to draw publicly...
I got my tablet in early december I made a journal here about it but no one ever reads my journals Except Papilia

Perhaps we could try an OC session sometime... but I know I'm gonna suck so damn much

Consider, I got my tablet earlier THIS month. It doesn't take long to get used to it. And besides, you won't really be drawing publicly. Unless of coarse you qualify just one person public.

Well... I feel uncomfortable drawing when people, one or more, can see... I make so many stupid mistakes that I hate
And as I'm so damn bad at using the tablet I'm gonna feel even more so... But I'm still willing to try As long as it's a friend that I know won't point and laugh it's not quite as bad

And I'm not exactly a pro with the thing either. I had my first oC session not too long ago and I wasn't exactly the star of the show.

Yeah, they start at around $70 and go up from there. Kinda pricey but great if you can get one.

Thick lines are thick!

So cute though, and the thicker lines only adds to it, giving it a cutesy cartoony look.

Nice work.

What can I say, bold lines are just part of my style. I really like the way they look and it's just now starting to show on my tablet work.

Yeah, my tablet work is finally starting to resemble my physical work. It's exactly what I was hoping to reach. It still needs a little work, but I'm loving the progress I'm making on it. I don't think I'll ever fully relinquish the pen and paper, but the tablet is an amazing tool when I don't have a long time to spend on a piece.

I would never suggest leaving the pen and paper, you need to keep your skills of traditional art. You should do some stuff with the tablet that you do have a lot of time for, you could make some pretty good images. Anyway, keep up the good work.
