Neither the piece, nor the character, is one of my favorites, but I'll toss it up for the completists that would like to see my Star Wars work in one place. Tell me, is anyone actually a Bossk fan, and if so, will you help me see the light?This image is a box illustration for the miniatures set entitled "The Dark Times".

I wouldn't say I'm a fan, but I always thought he looked kinda cool. He has such a menacing appearance. In the Bounty Hunter Wars, he ate his father to take over the Bounty Hunters guild. Anyway, I think you did a great job rendering him!

This is awesome! The only back story of Bossk I've seen so far is in Star Wars Shadows of the Empire (takes place between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi) when it's a struggle for Bossk and all the other bounty hunters to capture Han Solo but unfortunately Boba Fett does. Bossk and IG88 are the smartest compared to Zuckuss and 4-LOM.

Well, Bossk is one those characters you get to like the more you're exposed to him. I personally started to like him in the Star Wars: Bounty Hunters Wars series. he still isn't my fav but I'm starting to like the Trandoshan species a lot more in general due to the fact I'm playing a Trando in a Table-top Star Wars rpg

He's my favorite character of all time! I could help you see the light of his amazing-ness, but it may take a while.
I think you did a fine job representing him, but his hands/feet should be a bit thinner, although the arms are long enough and the feet showing could be a bit more longer.
Sorry if I sounded stuck up, but it's still an amazing piece. His character may be hard to understand through the books, but he's always been my favorite since I first saw him in Episode V.

Bossk was always one of my favorite bounty hunters. I've always had a Wile E. Coyote feel about him. Fantastic work on this lovable lizard.

Bossk is bad ass!!! His dad is the leader of the Bounty hunter's guild and he ends up killing him!! Bossk also hunts wookies (well thats part of what he and his alien race do). Thats one reason he is all up on Han Solo's ass cuz he wants chewbacca! lol. U should read up on him on wookiepedia, u will get so much info on that site abt any star wars character, even if they only come out for like 2 seconds!

I'm not a big fan of Bossk in particular, but Trandoshans rule. Especially the ones in Star Wars: Republic Commando.

I'm a big fan of Bossk. All of the bounty hunters really appealed to me, I think because they lived in that gray world between godd and evil, Jedi and Sith. In as much, the diversity of the original bounty hunters shown in Empire really appealed to me. The fact that they were after Han and Chewie made Han and Chewie that much more compelling.
Bossk was also a mail-in figure, available before much was really known about the character. More mystique. More intrigue. More coolness.

I'm personally not a fan of Bossk really, as another person said, I like Zuckuss & 4-LOM more. 
Despite not liking the character much, I still think you've done an amazing job on the image, especially the Frazetta-like brushstrokes in the background.

Bossk ate his siblings when he hatched out of the womb. He's enslaved Wookies and is hell-bent on skinning Chewbacca. The way he's a complete monster is why i like him.
He's not my favorite bounty hunter, but i love them all.
Also, i do think the yellow suit fits him well. A bit odd to see it in a non Original Trilogy setting, it has such an extreme Empire Strikes Back aesthetic.

I've never read anything from the Expanded Universe, but I was highly amused by Robot Chicken's Star Wars specials when they portrayed Bossk.
It was a remake of the scene in The Empire Strikes Back, where all the bounty hunters are lined up before Darth Vader. Basically capturing Han Solo is a competition for those bounty hunters, but unfortunately for Bossk...everyone else had a head start because he had taken his shoes off on the Star Destroyer, and cursing everyone as being 'rude' for not taking off their shoes inside the facility
And if I have never said it before, you are a brilliant artist. Your Star Wars artworks are amazing and so are your cover artworks

I think Bossk is like the Anti-Boba. Raised as a bounty hunter like his father, but lacking any of the discipline, levelheadedness, or honor Boba has. You could go so far to say Bossk is what Boba could have been if Jango never cared for him or just ignored him all together.

Sort of figured that out myself really. Another similarity/contrast is that while Boba is obsessed with capturing Solo, Bossk is all about capturing Chewbacca (and skinning him).
