Description
Tori is a singer that I was somewhat familiar with; however, while immersing myself in her music for this calendar project, I found myself flooded with the depth and rawness of her message. Her voice drug me through the weighty caverns of a realm more comfortably left ignored. To say I enjoy this domain would be deceptive, but I attempt to honor its presence with the empathy and soulfulness it deserves. The piece I created strives to portray this eternal means of enlightenment, this alchemical process which engenders strength and wisdom that I've entitled, "Torrefaction."Size: 11x8"

Seeing artists like you do insanely gorgeous work like this in *traditional* mediums makes me think someday I could get the hang of it too. (But I'll never be this fantastic!) Brilliant work you are amazingly skilled!

I remember coming across this on the RAINN website quite some time ago and was instantly struck by how beautiful it was, and found it to be a great source of inspiration at the time. I still think so having found it again. Great work.

You are very welcomed. I only have a handful of friends who actually still use traditional methods of creating art. It's wonderful to see such craftsmanship still exists.
