This is the june entry to the #fanartcalendarchallenge by eivythi !! Sujested by my old frind and darling artist   AngelicPencil-JT she is a super nice person an artist and we talk a lot ( when we have time to it^^) and mostly we have very similar tastes on anime , movies etc... We both have raven as our favorite teen titan and our only divergercy its she is a robinraven shiper ( she actually has a very very nice pic of the 2 in her gallery,check her out if you havent yet!!!)and im a cannon ro beast boy shipper..
Buuuuut   Ive been wanting to make my version of raven for centuries and im so glad i finally did it!! The main inspiration was the classic cartoon series( that we both love) but as i know a little bit of the george perez New Titans comics and theres a new version of her origins actually drawn by the brazillian Gabriel Piccolo , and the tv series titans i wanted to make a more day to day type of costume but keeping more of her key characteristics in a way i liked more i guess..
the inspiration was japanese fashion, mostly ouji fashion , thats the more masculine subgenere of lolita fashion and i think it fits raven so much because of the her the dark arts relation and so. Even tho i like most of her desings i wanted to make shorts^^and my fave part ended up being her socks♡.. I went crazy with them after seing these pl.pinterest.com/pin/175851560…
My main ref was this one pl.pinterest.com/pin/650277633… that i really liked and made me go for ouji and dont comeback form the decision i sort of mixed that idea with this cape pl.pinterest.com/pin/175218860… . the shorts came from pic like these pl.pinterest.com/pin/627267054… , pl.pinterest.com/pin/534099455… the shoes are based on her original ones pl.pinterest.com/pin/650277633… I made a raven too big i guess but its more like her ower manisfesting but i took the idea of this one pl.pinterest.com/pin/650277633… In the end i ended up ading some chrishong art lines on the background to make it look better^^ i never did that before so..
Its watercolors, poster colors, colored pencils( i used more of it than in the others i posted recently) china ink for contours and White acrilic for higlingths. I wanted the backgoun to be her room but it was getting too muh attention off her so i went with the colors only .

I actually want to make a teen titans jaanese fashion series sometime^^
I finished it almost in time but i ended u posting only now.. hopefully ill be able to ost some old stuff and have some very interesting things im working on now soon ready to post as well^^
