Young Barbossa (pre Jack!) and Sao Feng, foolish, in love, and uncertain.This was supposed to have peach blossom theme (which is what Hector's holding in his hand) and Sao was supposed to be holding an actual peach, but I forgot! I don't know, all this Sao Feng stuff has forced me to RE-research all this Asian stuff I used to know back in High School and have long since forgotten. Something about the peach having a lot of significants in Asian culture, said to provide longevity to anyone who ate them. It seemed somewhat fitting for the two of them.

Wow... this is a pairing you don't see very often... I really love the expressions on them! Jack looks great but I think Sao Feng's nose is slightly too big (I mean, as Chinese myself, noses are pretty much of the smaller variety usually lol) But I really like how you drew his eyes- very pretty!
And yup, you are right, peaches are symbolic of longevity in Chinese culture (very often depicted in folklore as the favored food of immortals because of their mystical properties). Also, peach is apparently also a slang for young bride in China- which is also kind of fitting considering the pair
