The only comfort he found was in a long forgotten childhood lullaby, gently played by the Prince through a simple wooden flute. One of the many talents Zuko possesed, yet far too prideful to let them been shown in public."

Ah. Now I am VERY. VERY pleased with the way this picture came out! I spent over two days drawing away on Shi Painter. And to think, this all sprug from a random theory I had about Zuko being good at insterments. The boy did say that he could play the Sungi Horn after all.

Orignially I was aiming for a full blown picture with Zuko and Iroh, based on something I wanted to work with in teh RP. I'm still debating, but I'm pleased with what I went with in the end.

By far one of the most complex pictures I have done in a while, I don't think I've acutally sat down and finished a background like this without getting restless in QUITE sometime. So that's an improvement for me within itself!

I see a few flaws here and there, epscially in his hands, I used Aang for a reference, being that he was the ONLY person on Avatar that has been shown playing a flute, so the hands are a little off. But let's just pretend that there is some sort of funky butt prespective going on. And the moss, that looks like crap. But I can't fix it now. Oh well.

Lastly, the song he is playing is HIGHLY based upon this Chinese melody entitled 'Great Desert'. It is very haunting and beautiful, and it really seems to fit the mood of the picture.
