Well what do you know! Irko! This is something we haven't seen in a while, ain't that right?

Well really, since I recently posted that journal entry about "Why People Watch Me" with all those poll related questions, I saw that several of my beloved watchers wanted to see more Avatar, and/or Irko art related stuff from me! So I wanted to give you all that pleasure! Rather you liked it or not!

But on the subject of this picture. I found this older peice of artwork in my Art Folder a few days ago, and I was surprised by the fact that I just let sit there and gather dust without even being finished! It was such a cute drawing, that I don't even know why I didn't finish it! But with the current comments I had, I wanted to really badly, so I sat down two days ago and I got back to work on it!

Now, as I remember correctly and with the research I did on this peice, I used a loverly base from the super awesome base maker ! I was looking around DA for some Father/Son related bases, (BLEH. I'm obsessed! Sue me!) and while searching through peoples favorites and the search bar I came across a perfect base for Zuko and Iroh!

It was this one right here if you're curious. [link] It was so cute and amazing that I knew it just had to be done!

If the main idea isn't that clear to you, let me help you. Cus I'm that nice. Zuko is about four here and is being lead to bed by a forty nine year old Iroh who is currently in the middle of telling the youngling a story to make him tired, but as it seems, Zuko is more interested and amazed by Iroh's awesome storytelling skills and isn't going to sleep by a LONG shot! And all Iroh can do is lift his child up in the air all fatherly with happiness. And all that jazz. YAY.

At lest, that was what was going on in my head. Heck, I don't even know! I think the main idea killed itself when I tried to figure out Iroh's age here! I didn't know rather or not to make him half gray or not, so in the end I based him off of his Flashback self with Lu Ten...but just a little older. Seriously, math and Avatar don't mix! (65 - 17 - 21 + 18 + 4 = 49? GAH!)

And in closing here, I am rather pleased with how this came out, epscially with how the shadow effects worked! I didn't think they would be that nicely done in Adobe, but in the end...I'm seriously happy with 'em! I thank Lionessb and her awesome video tutorial on Youtube, or else I would have never figured it out! And yes, before you ask, I did do this in MsPaint AND Adobe. Lolz. I'm weird like that!

And finally, whoever can come up with a loverly oneshot about this here, or anything that might spark my interest and help me figure out whatever the crap is really going on here, will win a Chibi or Oneshot of their choice. I'll do anything expect slash. So that should be good enough to spark your creativty...right? Anyhow! Enjoy please! And there shall be more updates very soon!
