Esme turned around sensing his presence and their eyes met. Those eyes, he thought. I know those eyes. From somewhere… I’ve…always known them… And for a moment a different figure appeared in his mind. The figure still bore the same shimmering wings but instead was clothed in a strange garb he had never seen before.

I was contemplating putting a preview image up instead of the full image buuuut I got lazy and honestly I don't think it matters THAT much. Most people who see this either have read up to Ch. 27 or don't know the story at all in which case it doesn't matter

Ignore any and all various problems- this was done as a quick sketch (hence it's done on scratch paper ) I may color this at some point buuuut not anytime soon...at all.
