What I really enjoy about this scene is every detail relates to the environment. There is not one part of this scene that screams anything other than "one scorched land". The scene is dedicated to proving that this environment is one baron place. The landscape and sky are married. They seem so right for eachother. The transitions are nearly flawless and everything just feels right. Furthermore there is so much going on, everywhere you look you discover another aspect to the image, but this does not bloat the image at all! I seldomly find a work of art that has so much busyness that does not bother the eye. The color scheme is overly dominant, but I would not have it any other way.

My only immediate criticisms of the scene are; the feathered glow around th terragen edge, the subtle water reflection that seems to migrate onto the land, and finally the absence of a story to go along with the view!

Cool, the Terragen part reminds me of "Devil's Mountain"-a tall, steep-sloped mountain which was once the blocked vent of a Volcano, and the volcano itself eroded away, leaving it behind...And are those Blazing Aurora's I see ?

Wow, it's rare to find an original idea, or atleast perspective for space art.
