Description I went and saw this movie today and I instantly fell in love with it It's from the same director of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (Henry Selick) and it is also shot in stop motion. It has a very "Alice in Wonderland" like feel about it, and it was a great film. The book was written by Neil Gaiman, also one of my favorite authors, so it just wins points in my book all around!
I figured it deserved a painting it was so good! I really suggest you all go see it!

Method: Acrylics on Canvas- about 4 hours of work

I agree, though I'm not sure if Tim Burton had any part in this one, I think Henry Selick took over most of it...he's the guy who directed Nightmare Before Christmas too.

Amazing work, best Coraline yet! Her face looks very curious just as she was in the movie. Great color and contrast, very neat and clean cut as well.

An amazing painting, this is! I saw the movie about two weeks ago, after having just finished the book, and indeed, both were awesome...just like this painting! Excellent job capturing the exact look and feel of the character!
