Description
I love this character of Russian folklore.Gamayun is a prophetic bird with a woman’s head. She lives on an island in the east, close to para-dise, where sunrise.
The some people hope, if to catch her, she’ll execute any desire or will predict the future. But, it is dangerous. When Gamayun soar, after her from the east come a homicidal storm. She sings and cries on tombs of dead warriors.

Woooowww! What a great legend, I ignored it before read you... It's very interesting, I love legends. And I love this pic, expression on her face, she looks pretty sad or nostalgic maybe... You're very talented representing feelings on face... She is very impressive! I love the symbol on her wings. Where did it come from? And as always colors of the sky and feathers... Like a post apocalyptic world... Very expressive. Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaav!

The patterns on her feathers and the shine in her hair is so pretty. Also, the backgrouns is really nice and compliments her quite well.
