I'm glad you enjoyed it! You may want to look up Particle Man by They Might Be Giants too. There was also a Tiny Toons animation for it as well. They Might Be Giants also did a song that Cartoon Network used for a Courage the Cowardly Dog commercial.

Haha, it's a smart pun! Actually, it was called Constantinople because it was named after Constntine, the king of the Holy Roman Empire, who transferred the capital from Rome to there at 330 a.C. and then the Roman Empire was renamed by the historics as "Byzantine" or Eastern Holy Roman Empire... Weird. They renamed Constantinople because -obviously- they wouldn't call it with the name of the former king of the empire they conquered(it wouldn't make sense anyway -.-").
Instabul is the paraphrase of the Greek phrase "Ξ΅αΌ°Ο Οὴν Ξ Ολιν" or "Ξ΅αΌ°Ο Οα½°Ξ½ Ξ Ολιν" (spelling istambolin) which means "to the city" (just so no one says "It's all Greek to me", lol)
Btw, it was called "the City" with a capital letter because it was the biggest city and the capital and now it is just a holy/spiritual place or something...

Constantine was NOT the emperor of the "holy roman empire". He was the emperor of the actual Roman empire. Much later, in 800AD Charlemagne was crowned by the pope as they first emperor of the "Holy roman empire". The HRE was populated mostly by Germans and had nothing to do with the real Roman empire, which although it had lost nearly all of it's european territories, still existed in the east, ( greece minor asia etc) having Constantinople as it's capital.
I don't mean to be harsh, just wanted to make things clear.
