As the galaxy began to age, and the elder beings and their servants needed increasing assistance to maintain order in throughout all the star systems, as more sapient races emerged, the Wise One Wyseyr decided to create a second son to aid in his pursuits. Those old enough to remember those ancient times recall the goal of creating a supreme creature to control star systems with maximum efficiency.

The final result was something truly monstrous. It towered well over his father, and its head was crowned with yellow, glowing eyes and tentacles constantly wriggling as though they were trying to remove themselves from the body they were attacked to. Its skin was incredibly hard, almost stone-like, and it supported itself with 8 tremendous legs, each adorned with several claws. It, like his father, could move across space with frightening speed, and had many formidable powers.

Soon after his creation, as the smoldering elements that formed him cooled, he was set to assist his father. It conquered planets with great speed, ensuring they would remain subjugated under the Supreme Lords of Wyseyr and Lyks'Thobo. However, over time, something changed in those planets which were conquered by the son no longer worshipped any of the eldritch beings. Rather, they ultimately worshiped him, and he was adorned the title of Deve'Otho; The Ravenous King.

This conflict between father and son gradually grew stronger, as Wyseyr tried to coerce those planets towards the right path, and though some turned towards the Wise One's side, many remained loyal subjects of the Eyed Crown. Even then, Deve'Otho was almost always able to drive his followers back. Many temples were built, sacrifices made, and high priests praised the word of the Ravenous King to all those loyal.

Wyseyr continually tried to stop his son, creating countless beings to challenge him, waging numerable armies against him, but the ravenous king continued its reign on those planets it had conquered.

After all, he did what he set out to do, and created a supreme planet-controlling beast.
