Just a simple sketch I did in pencil and then scanned. I wanted to see what I could do with coloring scanned line art again and this is what I produced. Didn't spend a lot of time on it.It's okay. I need to practice more with layout and composition though.

Ohhhh, I love this. X3 Sora has a button nose! XD The heartless looks shiny, which I think is kinda funny. lol I have a difficult time with composition as well. My professor keep telling me to put my characters in context...that seems to be the hardest thing in the world for me to do. XP They want to know everything they possible can about the character, which is really hard to do in just one illustration. O.o

Yeah, It is.. ;< I think I need to go back to the very basics of drawing. Like, I want to start doing figure sketches of real people, and inanimate objects. I used to do that a lot.

I've been thinking of doing that myself. Just going and drawing things. I really need work on fabric and muscles. >.> I can't draw a guy very well...they all look a little on the twiggy side. XP I'd go to the gym and sit...but they don't stay still long enough for me to draw them. XP

Yeah, my friend is actually going to mentor me in drawing outside of anime some more. He draws big, muscleheaded guys lol. Fabric is something I need to work on too. Today is payday so I might order some books online to help me with anatomy and stuff after I may my bills.
You should try drawing people as you see them. I know there's a figure sketching process where you only get to see what you're drawing for about 5-30 seconds and then you have to finish it without looking at it. I will start doing that again.
