So Jayla has to earn her keep by herself for now - even if it means she has to take a sneak attack by the champ!I really REALLY had planned to have Amanda Armstrong come down for the "surprise" save and run Kelly away right before she destroyed Jayla. I figured it would be less typical to have Jayla take her own lumps this time though.
It's inevitable that Amanda will return and be pissed off about how Kelly did little Jayla, but that will happen in due time - there's no way around the Amanda + Jayla union.
So this is the conclusion of the first WME installment! I appreciate everyone's feedback and interest. You guys make this fun to do. I'm gonna write a journal tomorrow with more info on what's next for WME, and also ask some questions - so I'd appreciate if you guys checked it out and responded to that as well!

1 - fisrt of all, COOOOOL
2 - Did I feel revolted with the dirty move from kelly? Of course . BUT.....
3 - Kelly maybe is a darn dirty play wrestler, etc etc etc... BUT she is a total PRO. She knows everything about wrestling... she has a PhD on it. Must say that Jayla keep jumping like a happy idiot .... while, even blind by rage.... Kelly acted like a pro, like or not. Now, Jayla MUST learn that there is an ocean between street fighting... and the wrestling world XDDDDDDDD If she wants become another star, there is a loooooong way for this.
Easy comes, easy goes! ^^ A victory does not end on the bell ringing, is a good first lesson

This is the ending I wanted to see. A promising newcomer beating the champ by pin-fall no less then getting the full onslaught of an angry and embarrassed champ. Who in her own way just showed this little kid the most respect a pro can. Kelly may have faced opponents like AA before and came out on top, but Jayla showed her in 3 minutes that she is NOT unbeatable and will need to step up her game. With Jayla on the scene and Amanda waiting for some payback Kelly's future as the WME Champion is becoming less set in stone and she knows it. Looking forward to the next installment. Awesome work.

Bad ass. I like the no save. There was really no time for a save anyway. If the beating had continued or gotten out of hand then maybe Armstrong would have had to help. So I like the way it went down. I could see Armstrong taking Jayla under her wing. I could also see a handicpa match in Killer's future versus Armstrong & Jayla. Some of the dialouge was iffy (didn't sound like how people really talk) for me -too comic bookish- but the structure of the episode & the storytelling was really good!!! I'll be tuning in "next week"!!!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! I also felt that some of the dialogue was a bit "comic book." I actually prefer more realistic dialogue content, so that's something I will pay attention to in my next installment.

Dude...this first issue/episode was highly entertaining! I looked forward to each new render and I can't wait to see the next ep. No joke...WME blows TNA out of the water right now!

Thanks bro! I try to create scenarios that I think would come across good on TV, but at the same time I try to respect the art of creating a good comic. It's actually hard to balance the two. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about because you have some great characters/stories as well.

You're welcome...and I do know what you're talking about. If you think about it...telling a story via comics can be paralleled with booking matches and writing angles for wrestling. You have the characters, you have the conflict, you have the stakes for what each character is after or their purpose, and how each character goes about achieving their goal makes for the actual story.
Wrestling itself is nothing but storytelling...and you told your story in such a manner where it makes you want to see what happens next. Plus, the visuals were spot on...I would imagine that it would be rather difficult to render every single headlock, collar and elbow tie up, punch, kick, and body slam would be a daunting task! 
Can't wait to see the next episode!

Yeah, time simply wouldn't permit me to show every single move in the matches. Technically it could be done, but it would take about 6 months for me to get through 1 episode. I'm not that patient, and I don't expect any readers to be that patient to see just a couple of matches!
That was another thing I was concerned with. I was hoping the matches were entertaining enough, because all I could really do is show a couple of key spots, then the finish and that's about it.
Maybe I can have things going on with the girls who are not in the match, and have cut-aways, then cuts back to the action so that time can "elapse" and the matches won't have such abrupt jumps forward.

Well, Kelly may have "welcomed" Jayla in her own ways, but if i may say something about the way she womanhandled that young lass, i have a feeling that sooner or later, Kelly will strongly be getting hers. And in a really big way too.
