* This is a piece based on the Legends of Tristan and Isolde. Isolde is rushing to the forest in Ireland outside the castle grounds to make a wish on her birthday for a true love that will ignite her heart.

It's great to hear from you! I really like this piece, both in terms of composition and style.
A real Celtic feel, what with her pale skin and emerald green dress. I love the way you graduate your colour in a very deliberate way, well done!
I've visited a few open studios this weekend as part of a local arts festival and, yes, it's starting to look and feel like spring here too!

Thank you for your comments on this piece! I love Celtic art, after all I'm part Irish. I still have family in County Claire, Ireland. I love the legend of Tristan and Isolde . I really like to go to art festivals myself! Don't consider yourself an amateur. Art is Art in my opinion and if you have the passion for it than that is all that matters

Well, I've not actually been to Ireland myself (ridiculous as it's only across the sea) but I've family in the more Celtic area of south-west England.
And I also enjoy the Arthurian legends, having dipped into Morte D'Arthur by Mallory......
