The Crossing is definitely one of my most favorite movies. Washington's way cool, and random History fact! The Hessians actually knew that there was going to be an attack on them, and were waiting for it. A while earlier from Washington's attack, another American troop came and attacked the Hessians. Washington thought that their plans were ruined because he thought this would have alerted the Hessians, little did he know that because of this attack, the Hessians thought that the rebel army wouldn't attack again, they thought that the previous attack was the attack that they were warned about, so they sat back and relaxed while the REAL attack was on it's way.

Way cool huh? I bet they don't teach you that in your US History classes!
