my entry for OC contest

finally finished!!!, i had this saved in "stash" while i finished the other pendient works...because i will make my trip u_u...gah!, i haven't finished my second entry of my locust oc ...ohh well...
here's my main character....believe me that was harder to write than to paint! (even i suck at paiting woman's faces in a realistic way! XD)

Notes: some names of Naira's new Team (like the love interest) where hide for avoid "spoilers" of my comic, i will fix that after finish some pages, so, don't worry to one of my friends that it's helping me with the story

"behind scenes" and trivia about this character:

*curly hair for the use of helmet.

*this is my 3rd OC that i had created,and the first one that suffered more re-designs at bios and appearance than my others OCs. (created in 2009)

*in her first appearance she was named "Karen", but i decided to change her name to Naira, then the surname "walterson" was given some years later.

*was a OC which does i didn't take too much importance and almost years I neglect her, actually it's the character in which I worked more and it's my second favorite of all my Ocs.

*the reason of the blue paiting in her hair was because i wanted to make note her of other characters (many of the OCs can have short and black hair and i don't want problems with anyone about the "copycat" thing),besides that blue is my favorite color ... matches perfectly with the gears blue armor..

*the first look and design was "bold", then i changued it for a "better",agressive and "i'm not playing" (like most of the gears does) personallity. even i removed the blue lipstick (i put it because i thought that macthed the restant blue parts, but was removed by logical things of my mind XD)

*like 17 surnames were asigned to Naira, like "Naira Thrusell" etc etc
at the end was choosen Walterson, that it's a surname abbreviated of "Walter", one name of many refering to my favourite villain in silent hill 4: Walter sullivan. (even i thought to put "Naira Sullivan" ).
