Description
Here's my concept for Mega Electrode. It's always been an unusual Pokémon especially in terms of its design. I wanted to make a unique Mega form that also somewhat explained the classic but strange ball with a face on it.

Details
Upon Mega evolving this Pokémon overflows with energy. To prevent it from self-destructing it opens its protective shell so it can release its excess electrical power by directing it at its opponent. Usually an Electrode would never reveal its delicate core but this battle-ready form sacrifices defence in exchange for an incredible boost in offence and speed, the hope being it can defeat its enemy quickly and decisively before it can be damaged. While its core is its weak point, trainers and their Pokémon are strongly advised against making physical contact with it.
