you rotated the photo to give the feeling that he is falling to the light? or just because it stayed nice?

I rotated it just because I enjoyed the composition more that way.

Haha yep, I think I heard about it on sootoday a couple years ago. I was walking in the area and happened to remember it, so I checked it out, and it's really a pretty cool place for photos.

Where is it exactly? What landmark is it near, if any? I went looking for it today and couldn't find it.

Did you look at the Google Maps link I posted in the description?

Off hand, I don't really know the names of any of the businesses around it. But from the road, it looks there's a small creek overgrown with grass, and you have to go down a bit of an embankment to find the entrance.

Yup, checked the map. Still couldn't figure it out. I guess I'll just have to spend a day walking around there. Hah!

Technically and overall composition, I love this photo. I really like this view and warm glow emanating from the tunnel's end. However, I think you could've done more with the person and how he's positioned. Right now, the way he's sitting and hunched over, he's almost positioned like he's playing a video game instead of basking in the glow. Maybe if he was sitting a bit more relaxed and turning his face just a little bit to the right, so we still can't discern his facial features, but can see more of the glow that's reflected off of his face.

Thank you for taking the time to really comment, I appreciate it. I agree with you about the positioning of the subject (who is actually myself). I would have very much preferred to have been standing up for this shot, as if I were walking toward the light, but there just wasn't enough room in that tunnel for me to be standing and still get the composition I wanted. I just tried to sit in a natural-looking position, and this is how it turned out. I hope to go back and re-shoot this at some point and see if I can get the shot to work with me standing in the tunnel now that I have a wide angle lens.
