Yes, I am a 15 year girl who is still in love with the movie Cars made by Pixar and Disney in '09! I have no shame in such things and I don't care for the ones that make fun of things like that, in my opinion, those haters need a life. 'nough said.

This is Lightning McQueen and Doc Hudson, or as he was known in his racing career, The Fabulous Hudson Hornet. Lightning is scared of thunder storms do to bad memories in his past. Him and Doc were some-how changed into wolves and dropped into the world of humans. They were caught and put in a zoo, now they are in a small zoo barn while the workers think of what to do with such odd colored wolves. Then a storm hits and poor lightnin' is scared out of his wits and Doc is comforting him.
This can be seen as Slash, father-son like relationship, good friends, mentor to apprentice, or whatever you see fit to match it. I, in my opinion, I see it all ways, but the fanfic that gave me this idea is found here; www.fanfiction.net/s/6493155/1… in chapter 10. WARNING; The fanfic IS slash of DocxLightning. I blame that fanfic for liking said coupling, BUT, like I said, I see them in many ways, not just a couple.
Also, I do not want to hear you yelling at me for liking a couple that is years apart. In my opinion, Lightning is in his 15-16 or 18-19 and Doc is in his late 30s, or early 40s. And the reason I don't want you yelling at me for different age different in the coupling? You wanna know? You truly wanna know? I will let you know! I HAVE AN UNCLE THAT WAS 30 AND MARRIED MY AUNT WHEN SHE WAS 18 AND THEY ARE MY FAVORITE AUNT AND UNCLE, so, word of advice, DO NOT ATTACK ME FOR AGE DIFFERENT COUPLINGS! -_- Ok? Ok! !

Now here is our dear story;
Lightning McQueen walked around the concrete barn in the zoo, his tail swishing. First he got turned into a wolf and now this! Stuck in a zoo, while the humans decided what to do with him and Doc Hudson.
He glanced at Doc, the blue and silvery-white older wolf lay in the corner of the barn, only half awake, seeming not disturbed by the conditions they were in..
Lightning let out a huff of annoyance and than kept up with his pacing. It was a moonless night and not a star shined because of the dark clouds covering the sky. Than as McQueen curled up in a ball, a flash of lightning suddenly flashed at the small barred window and he yelped, hearing the thunder after it and gasped as more cracks and bangs can be heard and he presses himself against the wall and whimpered, letting out low whines and whimpers. He than heard the sound of paw-steps and looked up to see Doc looking out the window with a huff.
"Darn Thunder storm." The older said and than glanced at McQueen, realizing he was pressed up against the wall, shaking and whimpering and he raised a brow. "Hey kid, you ok?" He asked and huffed when Lightning shook his head swiftly, his bright blue eyes full of fear and the older wolf sighed. "Come here, he said, laying on his side a bit away from the window.. At first McQueen didn't move and than suddenly there was a bang from the thunder and Lightning suddenly dashed to his side, pressing up against Doc. The blue wolf put his paws around the smaller red wolf in a hug and than rolled a bit more onto his back, so McQueen was technology laying on him.
"Let me guess, bad experiences with thunder storms?" Doc asked the racer.
McQueen nodded, still shaking. "Yes... Bad memories..." He whimpered.. "I guess I have not out-grown my fear yet..."
Doc nodded, sighing and nuzzled McQueen. "Kid, look at me." He said and McQueen slowly looked up until they had eye contact. "You have nothing to worry about Rookie, I may not be as young as I once was, but that doesn't mean I can't protect you. Understand?" He asked.
Lightning slowly nodded and than pressed close to Doc, the older wolf closing his eyes....
Slowly the bangs and cracks of the storm outside started to not bug the young racer as he pressed himself up against Doc, trusting the older, retired racer with his life...
