Ok maybe it's not the most original concept as far as I'm concerned...with the whole hair-shrouding-face-peeking-eye look. But I quite like the angle in this.And don't shoot me if there's distortion on my face because this is done primitively the handheld way (:

There are always controversies with my hypothesis, my tone, my style, my thinking. I'm not a formal kind of person and if I know there will not be any serious blow to someone's feelings then I don't care about the initial effects hatched with my saydirect theory.
Regarding the pakgrils, I know and agree with you on that banner. This club needs some serious cosmetic lift up. I recently joined it as admin. I straight away designed a new avatar and changed it today. Also that banner will be changed soon as I've designed something simple for it. Tum bas chakkar lagati aur dekhti jao

No, actually most of them are rather trying to get under indian shadow. our film industry mostly try to copy indian love story type films. did you see MTV Pakistan? they got exact same style programming which MTV India had 10 years ago where mtv india is currently on much latest/modernistic track. Most people here love to use bollywood films sentences like "bole to aik dum must etc etc here.
Talent is not the problem here. Its the infrastructure which is inferior in quality. Mostly because of poor governments in the past who were afraid of giving license to tv and radio channels. So less demand, and less people going to art schools. But since 1999, this current government is giving full freedom to media so more and more arts programs are showing up in schools and more people participating. So situation is getting better.

your music scene is gaining prominence for sure, at least among the indie types who don't get their fulfilment from the bollywood sountrack scene....i'm not sure if the independent artists on the indian side are strong....i don't really listen to any...it's more of the filmi stuff that's popular i think.
are only the rich snooty folks going to art schools? or is it accessible to everyone? i'd imagine it to be quite expensive...ahh it's good that the powers that be are relaxing their censorship...not so for us here....censorship is like second nature to the powers that be...especially with race/religion issues...but there are ways to get around that of course...i think theatre gets away with a lot
