Description Romans 6:11-14

11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.
13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.
14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

Did you know that when you accept Christ as your savior, you are spiritually dieing to sin. When I first took this picture, I thought I was only taking pictures of a bunch of ants. but the more I looked at this one, the more it gained Biblical meaning. Notice the dead ant? how this little one is far away from its group and alone. It, in a way, shows the path every Christian takes in a lifetime. First, we are like every other ant in this picture. We are lost among ourselves in or evil and wickedness. We are living in Sin. But when we accept Christ, we begin to leave this sin in our lives. And we continue. it gets harder to not turn back, for the road quickly gets lonely. But finally, we will reach our goal. where we will die to our sin, like this ant has died. But unlike this ant, We will have gained a new, pure life in Christ our savior. and our blackness will be left dead. As we continue into the White.

Great job. This is a picture that really grips you when you look at it for a minute or so - if you just glance, you miss the message! Great work, and thank you for sharing!

I love this. I think you did an amazing job explaining this and I feel the very same way as you typed you felt in this. It's hard, but it's SO worth it! I look back from where I started out, beginning my life anew in Christ and I was still full of problems, and dealing with a lot of struggles of sin, but from where I was then, to where I am now, it's been a long journey. The best thing to remember is that God uses us even when we feel broken No matter what is thrown at us; God helps us through it and makes us stronger He doesn't want us perfect; he can use it in the ways he has planned, he wants brokenness to help us reach out to the broken and bring them to him as well
