Description This is an outdated drawing. See my newer art.
I'm very pleased with his design and colors. Gallemotch is part plant part centipede. He's 4th in command after Quetzalcoatl. He's 42 feet long. His mouth opens into three lobes. I will have to show him from the front sometime with his mouth fully opened. He has venom and poison. He's able to poison the ground and cause death in his immediate vicinity to other plant life. You saw his human form as George Smith. This is his true form. New character so I still haven't figured out everything about him. He's quiet, usually keeps to himself but deadly once he's ready to kill. He does not like Quetzalcoatl but gets along well with Sorath.

The background is ok I think. I like the colors and was going for that American desert feel. I think I sort of got it. I'm experimenting with new backgrounds and it was a rather rushed job. But it's not the main focus here.

Oh man this is old and anatomically wrong other than his head. My first drawing so I hadn't developed his design yet.  But I'm glad you like it. Yeah his story is still correct though.   Yes my hierarchy is of 11 and there is a lot of in fighting going on.

  This is my first drawing I ever did of him. I have more on the way. I find centipedes very easy to draw for some reason and fun.  As Thagirion's soul collector I'm looking forward to making some horror scenes with him.

I understand. Some have very cute faces. I wish they were venomous just so I could pick them up. I wish a lot of my favorite creatures weren't venomous so I could hold them: rattlesnakes, cobras. Things like that. But yeah centipedes are pretty sweet. I prefer the ones with normal legs, not the ones that look fuzzy. Way better than millipedes which I think look like long rolly pollies.

They are cool looking. I have seen them at pet stores and when I have gone to reptile stores. I like how they turn blue under black lights. BTW, I haven't drawn him yet but Gallemotch's servant is a scorpion named Aladritch.

Several places. Either I make them up, I take inspiration from demon names and do my personal variations, and for my humans I give them names from real and historical people that I admire.  Like Owen Fairfield Marsh named after Sir Richard Owen, John Fairfield Ostrom, Othneil Marsh.

this MAY have used to be a grassland, but since he can poison plants by biting the ground, he TURNED it into a desert. justa possibility

Hey that's an excellent idea!   This may be part of the origin of the American desert. The poison comes from his feet and he can control when he uses it. He can also suck the lift out of big trees to heal himself if he's been hurt in battle. Not a creature you want around your prized garden.

Oh, awesome, its been a while since I've seen a convincing insect-ish character All those segments, must have been a hassle to line I guess, he's a huge one though, might enjoy squashing people if too full to eat them xD I like that he's part plant, for what he lacks in eyes, he's all the more deadly using other senses. God, it would be scarey if he had you cornered in a rocky canyon

Thank you. I'm glad you think so Actually they weren't so bad to make. The most annoying thing was all the little lines on the segments of his arms and legs. Yeah, he'd definitely enjoy that and be good at it. I wouldn't want to be caught by him like that. But he still gets teased by Quetz.

I guess the number of people, who like Quetzalcoatl isn't that high. But a millipede somehow works for a commander of hell... anything insectiod with that size is either product of extreme evolutions or not of natural origin. And the background goes well with his human form.

Actually as far as this little population goes, Quetz won for the most votes as a favorite character. I was surprised. Gallemotch is another earth spawned demon and of high rank. Yes, now I associate him with the American desert because of that story. Thank you for the fave.

Oh gosh, that thing is HUGE! And terrifying. He's another one of your characters that I wouldn't want to meet while alone...
Wonderful design on him! I like the back scales and those three little tan scales. I'd like to see him from the front as well! Was it hard to draw all of his feet?

Thank you. Yeah you don't want to make him mad. Quetzalcoal is bigger than him though. Gallemotch is 20 feet long. He's probably standing about 15 feet when he's reared up like this. Glad you like the plates of his exoskeleton. The little tan things are just protrusions on his shell giving him more protection. Bumps and thorns like a beetle would have. I have an idea for a scene with him, Malidicus and Ophidius where I can show him with his mouth fully opened. Here's hoping I can draw it. No, not really. His feet weren't so hard. His six arms were only slightly trickier but this is one of my easier monsters to draw. Thank you for the fave and the comment.

I'm so glad that comes through on him. I want people to be creeped out or scared on sight, unlike Quetzalcoatl who's beautiful. I'm glad you like the rocks too.

Ooooh! I love this! He's so cool and creepy! The story behind him kind of reminds me of the legend of the Mongolian Death Worm for some reason...

He's eyeless O.o that means he can fell your every move thru earth vibration that we produce when we move,right?
He wolud be creepy even if he would have eyes.But without is even more creepy.

Yes. He's also more in touch with sounds and over all light intensity because he's also a plant. I hadn't realized that's another thing he has in common with Sorath. They are both eyeless. They can relate to each other in more than one way. Thanks.
