Now this is a most fascinatingly alien-looking illustration of Bast; I'd say an eerie, inhuman quality fits this particular subject beautifully, since it helps curtail any jokes about cat-girls ... (I have to admit this particular Pagan spirit is at the root of my running joke to the effect that "Dogs have masters, Cats have a humble obedient").
